About the race
The LIV Legal Fun Run & Walk 2026 is an in-person event at Kings Domain Lawn 7 in Melbourne that brings together legal professionals and the broader community for walking and running on the Tan Track and nearby Royal Botanic Gardens.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 4 km walk
- 4 km run
- 8 km run
The event offers individual and team entry options. Teams must consist of exactly three participants and use the same team name at registration to be eligible for the Hartog Berkley Shoe Trophy for the fastest running team. Offices can register as a group and include the event in workplace health programs. Registration closes one week before the event; late bookings require contact with the events team.
Inclusions for entrants are race bibs, gourmet catering, and refreshments including water and soft drinks. The event supports the Black Dog Institute, a not-for-profit mental health research organisation focused on mood disorders and related illnesses.
