Little Miracles 5K : Springfield, IL
The Little Miracles 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 at Washington Park Pavilion in Springfield, Illinois. The event is organized as a community run and walk that raises funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital.
Event distances and age categories include:
- 3K
- 5K
- 3K Youth for ages 9 to 17
- 5K Youth for ages 9 to 17
- Kid's race for ages 8 and under
All finishers receive a finisher medal. Overall awards are given to the first, second and third place male and female finishers in the 3K and 5K. Additional medallions to pin on finisher medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age bracket. Age brackets include 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and above. Awards are also presented to the top fundraising team and the top fundraising individual.
Timing is electronic; overall finish times are recorded with chip timing and are text messaged to participants after they finish. Results are uploaded after the event. T shirt ordering has a cutoff date of Monday, June 1. Pre-event packet pickup is available on Friday, June 19 at the Hollis Building.
