Little Elm Polar 5K Run & Plunge

About the race
Little Elm Polar 5K Run and Plunge is scheduled at Little Elm Park on January 2, 2027. The event combines trail running and a community polar plunge at the same location.
Events include:
- 5K Run, timed with awards for overall masters grand masters and age groups
- 1K Fun Run, untimed family friendly run
- Polar Plunge, plunge event with separate registration
Participants in the 5K and 1K receive a Polar Run t-shirt a finisher medal hot cocoa and donuts. Polar Plunge participants receive a Plunge t-shirt hot cocoa and donuts. An additional plunge t-shirt can be purchased during registration for those who plan to plunge after the run.
The 5K will be timed and will award winners in overall masters grand masters and age group categories. The 1K is not timed. Prizes for the Polar Plunge include best costume youngest plunger and oldest plunger. Late packet pickup and on site registration are available on event day. Early packet pickup is available the day before at Towers Tap House.
