The Little Colorado River Gorge Half Marathon & 10K takes place on February 7, 2026, at the Little Colorado River Gorge Navajo Tribal Park near Cameron, Arizona. Online registration remains open through race morning, with packet pick-up and on-site registration available at the park on race day. Entry fees listed for the events are:
- Half marathon - $60
- 10K - $40
There is also a free 2-mile community fun run with open registration at the race site.
Course and location
The start and finish for the half marathon are at the Shadow Mountain Viewpoint inside the LCR Navajo Tribal Park, which is located 9.5 miles west of Cameron on Highway 64. The half marathon route travels over 6.5 miles up to the upper overlook using dirt roads, double-track, historic Highway 64 and singletrack trail. The course reaches elevations just over 5,500 feet at its highest point, with the start/finish just over 5,000 feet. The 10K is an out-and-back on the same route; terrain is rocky and sections between 10K miles 2-4 are noted as difficult. The park offers ample parking, dramatic overlooks, arts and crafts vendors, and permanent pit toilets.
Awards and post-race
Overall and age-group awards are given for both the half marathon and the 10K. Age groups include 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. All finishers receive a unique LCR finisher’s medal. Post-race snacks and live music are provided. The races are co-sponsored by NavajoYES, LCR Navajo Tribal Park and Navajo Parks & Recreation, with local supporting organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
