Event Details
The Little Carolina Trail Fest is an evening trail run on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Lagoon Picnic Area in the Cleveland Metroparks' Rocky River Reservation. The event aims to bring a southern atmosphere to the Ohio trails.
The Course
The course consists of a single 5K loop. Participants register for their chosen distance, which they complete by running multiple loops. The race offers distances from 5K up to 20K. The event is chip-timed. A course map is available on Strava.
Participants and Atmosphere
The event is open to hiking, rucking, walking, and running; all paces are welcome. The start and finish area is integrated with the after-party festivities.
Post-Race Activities
After the race, there is an after-party featuring live bluegrass music and a beer garden. The first beverage in the beer garden is included for participants.
Swag and Logistics
All finishers receive a medal and a pin to commemorate the number of loops completed. An optional race t-shirt is available for purchase during registration. The event will proceed in bad weather, with adjustments only for severe conditions.
Shuttle services are available from the Frostville Museum parking area, operating from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Participants and spectators must park only in legal parking spots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
