Little Blackfoot takes place on July 18, 2026, near Elliston, Montana, listed with Helena, MT. The event offers two trail race distances:

Course description

Both distances are out-and-back and start near Kading Campground on Little Blackfoot River Road. All runners begin together, run to the end of the road, and drop down onto the trail that accesses the Little Blackfoot Meadows trailhead. Runners cross two wooden bridges over a creek, then continue up the trail to Blackfoot Meadows, which serves as the turnaround point for the 15K. 30K runners continue through the start area, cross the road, and follow the Kading Grade trail to a new route that climbs to the top of the Continental Divide, then retrace the route back to the start/finish area.
