Lloyd Harbor School 32nd Annual Little Apple Fun Run
The Little Apple Fun Run is a community event hosted at Lloyd Harbor School on School Lane in Lloyd Harbor, New York. The event is held rain or shine and features a two-chip, one mile race run in nine heats. Heats are staggered by several minutes to reduce crowding at the start area.
Participants compete for trophies awarded to the top three males and top three females in each category. Categories include PreK and Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Seventh Grade and up, and Adults (18+). Trophies are presented at school assemblies.
After the race, attendees can expect snacks, games and music on site. Parking is managed for the event with temporary lot closures around the race period to support operations.
