LIRRC Ducks Wednesday Night Summer Series : Eisenhower Park, 2026
The LIRRC Ducks Wednesday Night Summer Series is a weekday running and walking series held in Eisenhower Park, Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY. The series runs from May through August 2026 and includes weekly 5K events plus a designated 1 mile championship night.
Event features include refreshments and water, music, finish line photos and video, raffles including a 50/50, and post-race food provided by All Round Foods. Race results are published live online, and same-day finish line photos and free video coverage are offered.
Entry pricing varies by event and membership status. Becoming a LIRRC member reduces the per-race fee to $10; individual and family membership fees are listed during registration. Active military participants are eligible for free entry if requested at least 24 hours before the event. All 5Ks are free for participants ages 17 and under through the elitefeats Strides for Community program; the 1 mile Grand Prix night is excluded from that program. A kids fun run is offered with a nominal fee and a ribbon for each child.
Courses include a certified 5K route and a 1 mile course used for the USATF-LI Grand Prix night. Awards are given to top overall men and women and to age group placings across standard age divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
