Lions Roar for Fitness 5K/2.5K Challenge
The event takes place at Lake Minnequa, 1500 Lakeview Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004. It features timed running races for multiple age groups and a short free sprint for young children.

- 50 yard Kiddie Sprint for ages 5 and under
Age divisions for the 5K and 2.5K include 6 and Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+. Medals are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each 5K age division. Prizes are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K. For the 2.5K, medals are awarded in the 6 and under, 7-8, and 9-10 divisions. The Kiddie Sprint is a free 50 yard dash for children age 5 and under.
Registration fee structure and deadlines are posted. Early registration through September 24 is listed at $30 with a guaranteed t-shirt; late registration September 25 to October 6 is $35 with no guaranteed t-shirt; online registration closes at the end of October 6 and on-site registration on October 10 is listed at $40.
