The Lions Pride 5K takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026. It is held in Rushville, Indiana at Benjamin Rush Jr High School on 1601 N Sexton St.

- 5K Run - Cross Country Member (a special category for cross country team members)
Awards
Awards are given in several categories. For the 5K Run, awards are presented to the overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top finishers in numerous age groups ranging from 11 & Under to 80 & Up. For the 5K Walk, awards are given to the top five overall finishers.
Pricing and Registration
Entry fees vary. The standard entry fee is $25 until June 14th, which includes a t-shirt. A $15 option is available without a t-shirt. Cross country team members have a special rate of $10 with a t-shirt or $5 without one. An online registration fee may apply separately. T-shirt orders must be placed by July 20th to guarantee availability.
Series Information
This event is the first race in the Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit (SIRC), a summer series of five 5K races. Each SIRC race is a fundraiser for the host school's running program. Participants who complete four or five races in the series are eligible for overall SIRC awards. A $1,000 grand prize giveaway is sponsored at the final event.
