Event Overview
The Lions Pride 5K is a sports event held in Rushville at Benjamin Rush Jr High. This event takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, and serves as the first race in the Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit (SIRC). The circuit consists of five different 5K races held throughout the summer, with each event acting as a fundraiser to support the host school's running program.

Competition and Awards
The event features awards for both runners and walkers. For the 5K Run, recognition is given to the overall male and female winners, alongside various age groups ranging from 11 and under to 80 and over. The 5K Walk recognizes the top five overall finishers.
As part of the broader racing circuit, those who complete four or five events in the series are eligible for series-specific awards, including the Overall SIRC Leader and an age-graded category. Participation in multiple circuit events also grants entries into a grand prize giveaway held at the final event of the series.
Registration Details
The entry fee varies based on the selection of a t-shirt and membership status. Registrations completed by June 15 include a garment, while a reduced rate is available for those who opt out.
