MBLC Turkey Trot 5K
The Murray Business Lions Club presents a Thanksgiving morning 5K run or walk at Murray-Calloway County Central Park in Murray, Kentucky. The event is the club's 9th annual Turkey Trot and is organized as a chip-timed 5K with professional timing provided by Mid-South Race Timing.
Online registration opens August 20, 2026 and closes November 27, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30. Pre-registration is available; packet pickup is scheduled Monday through Wednesday of race week, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Murray-Calloway County Library rear entrance.
On race morning there is a late registration option and a traditional pie giveaway. Awards include trophies for first male and female finishers, first male and female master finishers, and grandmaster male and female finishers. Age division awards are given for these ranges: 0-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-100.
Additional awards are planned for the largest corporate, club, and family teams, for the tallest and shortest runners, the oldest and youngest runners, the runner who traveled the longest distance, and for the top three costumes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
