Lincoln Days Railsplitter 5K and 10K
The Lincoln Days Railsplitter event in Hodgenville, Kentucky, takes place on October 3, 2026, as part of the 55th Annual Lincoln Days Celebration in downtown Hodgenville. The program includes multiple running distances and a separate youth dash.

The 5K is an out-and-back route beginning in downtown Hodgenville. The 10K follows a loop that goes through Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park and runs past the Lincoln Memorial. The Kid's Dash is a one-mile race for children.
This is an open road race with a heavy volunteer presence. All races are cupless; a water refill station will be provided for 10K runners, and 5K runners are expected to carry water if needed. Pets are not allowed on the course or in the festival area.
Runners receive a finisher's medal and a bonus race t-shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by September 18, 2026. Awards will be presented to the top two overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K, including a special handcrafted award for the overall male and female winners; there are no age-group awards. An awards ceremony will be held on Lincoln Day’s Main Stage with a photo opportunity at the Lincoln Statue.
Registration opens April 14, 2026. Registration for the 5K and 10K closes September 26, 2026; Kid's Dash registration remains open through race day.
