Limerick Half Marathon
The Limerick Half Marathon, organised by Just Race Events, takes place on Sunday 2 August 2026 in Limerick. The event is a professionally timed 21.1 km road race that uses city streets and finishes in the surroundings of Thomond Park stadium. The route starts at TUS Limerick (Moylish Campus).
There are three water stations located along the course; water is provided in small bottles and waste bins are placed shortly after each station. The race is not run on fully closed roads, so runners are asked to remain aware of traffic; stewarding support will be provided by Kilmaley GAA along with local Gardaí. Official pacers will be present to assist target pacing.
Race numbers and t-shirts can be collected the day before the event or on race morning outside Thomond Park. Pay-and-display parking is available at TUS Limerick and nearby Thomond Park. Facilities at the start and finish include bag drop, toilets, refreshments, medical support, and marshals. Every finisher receives a custom race t-shirt and a finisher medal.
