Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run
The Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run takes place in St. Augustine at 81 Lighthouse Ave. The event includes multiple race options and supports the St. Augustine Lighthouse and local community organizations. Proceeds benefit JSL service projects and provide financial support for local non-profit organizations.

The 5K is a chipped, USATF certified course covering 3.1 miles through Historic Lighthouse Park and Davis Shores (certificate FL13006EBM). A post-race awards ceremony is held on the lighthouse grounds; awards are presented to the top three participants in each age division, with separate male and female groups. Age divisions range from 10 and under up to 85 and above.
On-site amenities and logistics noted by the organizer include parking in nearby areas surrounding the lighthouse neighborhood, packet pick-up the day before the race at Jimmy Hula's and availability of packets on race day, and planned children's activities such as face painting and arts and crafts. The event also includes a Fun Run designed for younger participants and offers the opportunity to climb the lighthouse tower for free. Online registration opens in August and closes shortly before the race; entry fees are non-refundable. The deadline for a guaranteed T-shirt is February 9.
