The Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026 in St. Augustine, Florida at 81 Lighthouse Ave. The event includes these distances/events:

The 5K serves as a qualifier for the Gate River Run. Entry fees are listed on the event page and price increases after December 31, 2025. Online registration begins in August and closes shortly before the race; entry fees are non-refundable. T-shirts may be limited for late registrants. A virtual 5K option is offered with its own registration deadline.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5K course is a flat 3.1 miles through Historic Lighthouse Park and Davis Shores and is USATF certified (FL13006EBM). The 5K and Fun Run start and finish at the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Packet pick-up details are to be determined; packets will also be available on race day. Parking is available in several nearby areas, including across from the lighthouse, near the soccer fields on Red Cox Drive, RB Hunt Elementary School, and the St. Augustine Yacht Club lot. Awards are presented at a post-race celebration; the top three participants in each age division receive awards. Age divisions range from 10 & Under up to 85 & Above, with separate male and female groups. The lighthouse staff provides children’s activities such as face painting and arts and crafts, and tower climbs are offered free of charge.
