Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run
The event is a community running event at the St. Augustine Lighthouse on Saturday, February 20, 2027. It includes in-person and virtual options and supports the St. Augustine Lighthouse and local nonprofit projects through proceeds.
Distances:
- 5K Run/Walk: chipped race; USATF certified 3.1 miles, course through Historic Lighthouse Park and Davis Shores.
- Fun Run: 1 mile for younger runners.
- Lighthouse Virtual 5K Run/Walk: remote participation option.
The 5K serves as a qualifier for the Gate River Run. Awards are presented at a post-race ceremony on the lighthouse grounds; the top three participants in each age division receive awards. Age divisions include 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85 & Above with separate male and female groups.
Packet pick-up is available at Jimmy Hula's in St. Augustine and also on race morning at the lighthouse. Parking will be available in several nearby areas including around the lighthouse neighborhood, the soccer fields on Red Cox Drive, RB Hunt Elementary School, and the St. Augustine Yacht Club parking lot.
Entry fees are listed for each event and entry fees are non-refundable. T-shirt availability is limited; a deadline is set for guaranteed shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
