Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run
The event takes place on Saturday, February 20, 2027, at the St. Augustine Lighthouse, 81 Lighthouse Ave., St. Augustine, FL 32080. The program includes multiple formats for participants and a post-race celebration with awards and refreshments.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk, chipped, USATF certified course, Gate River Run qualifier
- Fun Run, 1 mile, activities tailored for children
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk option
The 5K follows a flat 3.1 mile route through Historic Lighthouse Park and Davis Shores and is listed under certification code FL13006EBM. Parking is available in several nearby areas around the lighthouse neighborhood, including across from the lighthouse, near the soccer fields on Red Cox Drive, at RB Hunt Elementary School, and the St. Augustine Yacht Club lot.
Entry fees vary by event. Online registration opens in August. Entry fees are non-refundable. Packet pick-up is available at Jimmy Hula's in St. Augustine and also on race day. T shirt availability is limited; a date is set for guaranteed shirts.
Awards are presented at the post-race celebration; the top three finishers in each age and gender division receive awards. Age divisions start at 10 & Under and continue in standard five-year groups up to 85 & Above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
