Event overview
Light the Way 5K: Walk On, Rock On for Mental Wellness is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, at True Vine Brewing Company in Tyler, Texas. Races and entry
The event offers a 5K run/walk, a Kids Dash for ages 12 and under, and a "No Run Fun! - Shirt Only" registration. Listed entry fees are $40 for the 5K, $30 for the Kids Dash, and $15 for the shirt-only option; prices increase after January 31, 2026. March 18, 2026 is the last day to register with a guaranteed t-shirt.
On-site details and amenities
The 5K is a timed event; the Kids Dash is not timed. Finisher medals are provided for the first 250 5K finishers and for all Kids Dash participants. Registrations include a drink coupon redeemable at True Vine Brewing Company (non-alcoholic options available for youth). Awards will be presented for top finishers in the Kids Dash and the 5K. Food trucks and Sola Bread will be on site, and sponsor and nonprofit booths will be available.
Logistics and rules
Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the venue. Free parking is available at the brewery and nearby lots. Leashed dogs and strollers are allowed on course.
