Event Overview
The Light the Way 5K is an annual event organized by Poovey’s Chapel. It will take place on May 8, 2026, in Hudson, North Carolina. The event includes a 5K race and a Fitness Walk/Stroll. Funds raised support youth activities for the church.
Race Details
The 5K race is chip-timed. The course goes through the town of Hudson and takes place after dark, lit by torches and people holding lights. Registration includes a t-shirt for those who register before the deadline of April 26, 2026. The entry fee is $15 until that date, and $20 thereafter. Awards are given for first-place overall male and female runners, and within multiple age categories for both men and women.
Additional Activities
