Life Time Las Vegas Turkey Trot
The Life Time Las Vegas Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning event held on Thursday, November 26 at Life Time Summerlin. It features a main 5K and a Family Fun Run 1 Mile for children and families. Both events begin near the Las Vegas Ballpark (Aviators Stadium) and finish at Life Time Summerlin, where a post-race event takes place on the pool deck.
All participants receive an official race bib, a Turkey Trot beanie, a finisher's medal, and admission to the post-race pool deck event. Packet pick-up is available on the outdoor pool deck of Life Time Summerlin on Sunday, November 22 (10:00 am to 1:00 pm) and Wednesday, November 25 (3:00 pm to 5:00 pm); entry for packet pick-up is via the side gate by the parking garage. Morning-of pick-up may be possible for travelers but lines are likely.
Course details: the 5K is a loop through the heart of Summerlin, passing Faith Lutheran, Downtown Summerlin, and tree-lined streets with views of the Red Rock Mountains; it begins at Aviators Stadium and ends at the Life Time pool deck. The Kids Mile starts at the same location and follows a shorter route with a U-turn before Town Center. Stroller runners are welcome and are asked to start toward the back. Pets are discouraged and are not permitted in the post-race event. Free parking is available across from Las Vegas Ballpark; parking at Life Time Summerlin is limited.
