Liberty Freedom Run
The Liberty Freedom Run takes place on July 4, 2026, beginning at the courthouse in Liberty, Indiana. The course starts at the northeast corner of the courthouse at Union and Market streets and finishes in Brownsville.

The route follows Market Street, turns left on E Sycamore and continues along Brownsville Avenue across zip codes to the finish in Brownsville. Walkers are scheduled to start before the runners.
On-course support includes water stations. The finish area provides water, Gatorade and snacks. Transportation will be available to return participants to Liberty for awards. Port-a-johns are available at the Liberty Festival.
Awards are given by age group for men and women, with age divisions from 12 and under up to 72 and up. A Clydesdale division is offered for participants 200 lb and over. Trophies will be awarded to the top five male and top five female finishers and one trophy to the overall Clydesdale winner. Ribbons are awarded for each age group.
The listed entry fee is $25. The run is held in conjunction with the Liberty 4th of July Festival, which includes a flea market, food, a parade and live music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
