Liberty Christian XC Fundraiser Run
This event is a color run held at Liberty Christian School in Richland, Washington on August 29, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the school near the corner of Acacia Ave and Sacramento Blvd. The event supports the school's cross country team.
Two running options are offered:
- Patriot's 5k - 3.1 miles
- Liberty Loop - 0.8 miles
The Patriot's 5k consists of a one mile loop around the school and through the neighborhood completed three times. Participants pass color stations and a water station on each lap. The Liberty Loop is a short circuit around the school intended for families with small children.
Registration fees are listed as $20 for the Patriot's 5k and $10 for the Liberty Loop; higher fees apply for day‑of registration. Each finisher receives a medal. Overall top finishers for the 5k will receive awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for male and female categories. The 5k will not be officially chip timed.
After the run, electrolyte drinks, ice water, and cold treats will be available. Participants are advised that sunglasses are recommended and wearing a white shirt will make the color effects more visible. No prior running experience is required.
