Liberty 5K & Fun Run
The Liberty 5K & Fun Run takes place on 07/04/2026 in The Colony, Texas. The event location is Stewart Creek Park at 3700 Sparks Rd, The Colony, TX 75056. The program includes a 5K race, a general Fun Run, and a Fun Run for children 12 and under.
Registration for the main events opens 03/05/2026 and closes 04/05/2026 with a fee of $30.00 for the Liberty 5K and the general Fun Run. Registration for the children 12 and under Fun Run opens 03/05/2026 and closes 07/04/2026 with a fee of $15.00.
Packet pickup is available in person at the The Colony Recreation Center, 5151 N Colony Blvd, from 06/29 through 07/03 between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Race day packet pickup is at Stewart Creek Park on 07/04 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
The 5K is organized into male and female divisions with age groups 0-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 plus. Awards include finisher medals for all participants, trophies for overall and masters winners in the 5K, and specialty medals for the top three in each 5K age group and division. The Fun Run will not have recorded times; finishers in that event also receive medals and children 12 and under receive goody bags.
