Liberty 5K & Fun Run
Liberty 5K & Fun Run takes place on July 4, 2026 at Stewart Creek Park, 3700 Sparks Rd, The Colony, TX. The event includes a timed 5K running race and a non-timed Fun Run with a children’s category.

Registration opens March 5, 2026. Registration for the 5K and the general Fun Run closes April 5, 2026; registration for the Children 12 and under category remains open through July 4, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K and general Fun Run, and $15.00 for the Children 12 and under category. T-shirts are available for the first 700 registrants.
Packet pickup is offered in person at scheduled dates and locations: Fleet Feet Frisco (8300 Gaylord Parkway #24, Frisco, TX), The Colony Recreation Center (5151 N Colony Blvd, The Colony, TX), and Stewart Creek Park (3700 Sparks Rd, The Colony, TX) on race day.
Awards and finish items are specified: finisher medals for all participants; the 5K offers trophies for overall and masters winners and specialty medals for the first three in each age group and division. The Fun Run provides finisher medals to participants and goody bags for finishers aged 12 and under. The 5K field is split into male and female divisions with standard age groups from 0-8 up to 70+.
