Overview
The Liberties Fun Run is an annual 4-mile timed road race held in Dublin. The 2026 edition is the 18th anniversary of the event, organized in aid of St James’s Hospital Foundation.
Course
The race starts and finishes in the grounds of the Irish Royal Hospital Kilmainham. The route passes through the heart of old Dublin's Liberties area, including locations such as St James’s Gate, Francis Street, The Coombe, and Fatima. The event typically attracts over 1500 participants.
Fees and Charity
The standard registration fee is €45. An early bird price of €35 is also mentioned. Registration is free if a participant commits to fundraising, with a minimum fundraising target of €200.
