Lewisburg Sprint Triathlon
The Lewisburg Sprint Triathlon takes place at Lewisburg Area Recreation Park on May 29–30, 2026. This is the second running of the event and includes adult and youth activities across two days.
Race format for adults includes an outdoor pool swim, a bike course on open roads, and an out-and-back run. Distances:
- 300-yard outdoor pool swim
- 15-mile rolling bike ride (open roads)
- 5K flat out-and-back run
Entry categories and fees are listed for individual athletes and relay teams. Individual athletes must be at least 12 years old; relay teams may be two or three people. Registration fees shown for adult events include an individual fee and relay fees; youth Splash & Dash races are free with pre-registration. No refunds will be provided.
A free youth Splash & Dash is held the evening before, with age-group races for 5 & under, 6–8 years, and 9–10 years. These youth races take place entirely inside the park, allow parent assistance in the pool or on the run, and permit flotation devices.
Pre-race logistics include packet pickup at West End Park and a beginner triathlon clinic at West End Park the night before, hosted by the race director and a USAT-certified coach. For 2026 the event uses age-group starts: athletes are assigned corrals and seeded by estimated 300-yard swim time. Corralling happens near the pool parking lot; athletes must collect the chip timing device matching their bib number. Spectators may access the pool deck only when their athlete is being ushered in and must enter through the locker room or main entrance.
Post-race activities include a finish area with food trucks and an awards ceremony. Event parking is available near the BVRA Ice Rink with overflow at the Miller Center. Awards include overall top male and female, top relay teams, and age-group awards through 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
