All American Trail Trek 5K
The All American Trail Trek 5K is a trail running event held at Camp CILCA in Cantrall, Illinois. The course runs across the camp’s 235 acre property and uses established hiking trails through mature trees and rolling terrain. The surface is primarily wooded and groomed trails, offering trail conditions rather than pavement.
Wildlife is commonly seen on the grounds; deer and other woodland animals may be present along the route. The course layout is intended to accommodate both competitive entries and recreational participants by providing varied trail terrain and natural surroundings.
This event is part of the All American Trail Trek Series, a three event series that includes the Abe Lincoln Trail Trek and the Freedom Run. Participants who took part in either the Abe Lincoln Trail Trek or the Freedom Run and complete this 5K earn a one of a kind mug designed for this year’s series. Runners who complete all three events are entered into a drawing for a Garmin Forerunner 165; at this time only eighteen runners are eligible for that drawing.
