Let's Move! Macon 5K Run/Walk
The Let’s Move! Macon 5K is a community run and walk held on 10/03/2026 at 2551 N Pierce Dr., Macon, GA. The event is one of several joint activities organized as part of the bicentennial observance of First Baptist Church on New Street and First Baptist Church of Christ, which trace a shared history to 1826. The 5K is part of the Let’s Move! initiative that focuses on addressing obesity and encouraging healthier habits for children and communities. The race is open to runners and walkers.
Registration opens on 07/31/2026 and closes on 09/10/2026. The registration fee is $10.00. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by 09/10/2026; shirts for race day registrants are available while supplies last.
In-person awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards for first, second, and third place will be given for male and female competitors in these groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
