The Letchworth 5K takes place on 20 September 2026 in Letchworth Garden City town centre and is presented by Love Letchworth and North Herts Road Runners. Distances offered:

- 1 mile and a Fun Run
Entry fees are listed as £12.00 for the 5K and £8.00 for the 1 Mile. A £2 discount applies for participants affiliated to England Athletics on production of their URN. Age limits: the 5 km race is for those aged 12 and over; the 1 Mile is free to enter for those under 11. All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, and 1st in V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories; prize awards use gun time.
Logistics and course information
All races start and finish in Leys Square, Letchworth Garden City. The course is on tarmac or solid blocks and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Roads are closed for the event. Race numbers with chips can be collected at Cultivo Lounge, Leys Avenue, Letchworth SG6 3EW. There are no changing facilities before the race; a baggage handling facility is provided at the start/finish and left items are at the owner’s risk. Public toilets are available in town and local cafes may allow access. First aid trained marshals will be present. Organisers advise no headphones, require race numbers to be worn on the front, allow dogs to run from the back on short leads, and provide pre- and post-race refreshments.
