Race number collection is at Cultivo Lounge, Leys Avenue, with pick up on the day and the prior day. Roads on the course are closed for the event. The surface is tarmac or solid blocks, making road running shoes the recommended choice. The course is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. For safety, runners are advised not to wear headphones and children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Runners who bring dogs must start at the back and keep the dog on a short lead.
There are no changing facilities on site. A baggage handling facility is provided at the start and finish; items are left at the owner’s risk. Public toilets are available in the town centre and many local coffee shops will be open. Car parking is available free of charge at several nearby car parks and secure cycle racks are provided in the town.
First aid trained marshals will be present. All finishers receive a commemorative medal and prizes are awarded by gun time in specified categories. Environmental measures include reusable or compostable cups, recycling of paper and cardboard, and reuse of race numbers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
