Event Overview
The Second Annual Leprechaun Dash and Bash features a 5K course located in Marietta, Ohio. Organized in collaboration with Thunderbolt Running-Timing and The Town House, the event utilizes a four-lap route through the city. The start and finish lines are situated at the patio of The Town House on Front Street.
Participants can choose from the following event categories:
- 5K Run or Run/Walk
- 5K Walk
- Virtual Race
Awards and Recognition
The event features a $1,000 running purse distributed among the top overall finishers. Cash prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third place overall male and female runners. Additionally, the top three overall male and female participants in both the running and walking categories receive trophies. Age group medals are provided for first, second, and third place finishers in ten-year age increments.
Logistics and Giveaways
The first 300 registered participants receive custom 16-ounce glasses featuring the race logo. Post-race activities take place at the venue and include music, food, and various door prizes such as gift cards from local businesses. These prizes are distributed based on a random draw according to finishing positions. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual race option allows for remote participation.
