Event Overview
The Second Annual Leprechaun Dash and Bash is a 5K event taking place on March 14, 2026, in Marietta, Ohio. The event offers in-person Run or Run/Walk and Walk categories, as well as a Virtual Race option.
Location and Course
The start, finish, and bib pickup are located at the Town House Outside Patio at 230 Front Street. The course is described as a four-lap route around the city of Marietta, noted as an area first for its layout.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees vary:
- $25 before November 1, 2026.
- $30 before March 1, 2026.
- $35 after March 1, 2026.
Pre-registered bib pickup is available on Friday, March 13, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Town House. Same-day registration is also available.
Awards and Prizes
The event features a $1,000 running purse, with cash prizes for the top three overall male and female runners: $300 for first, $150 for second, and $50 for third. The top three overall male and female runners and walkers also receive trophies.
Age group medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 10-year age gaps for both runners and walkers. The first 300 registered participants receive a custom 16-ounce glass featuring the race logo and sponsors.
Several door prizes, including local business gift cards, are drawn at random based on finishing place. Winners must be present to claim prizes.
Post-Race Festivities
Following the race, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, an awards ceremony is held on The Town House patio. The gathering includes green beer, food, and music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
