Leopoldsloop

The Leopoldsloop is an annual running event organized by the Joggingclub Krekenlopers in Sint-Laureins, with the 43rd edition scheduled for January 11, 2025. Participants can choose from distances of 5 km, 10.6 km, and a half marathon (21.1 km), all set along a scenic route by the Leopoldskanaal and Mazurekreek. Last year, the event attracted around 300 runners.

Registration options include pre-registration at reduced rates and on-the-day sign-ups. All participants receive a natural prize, and pre-registrants will receive a special bread from the main sponsor. The event aims to foster community spirit and promote fitness.
