About the race
Leighton 10 is the 43rd Leighton 10 mile road race, organized by Leighton Buzzard Athletic Club. The event takes place at Ascott House, Wing, near Leighton Buzzard (LU7 0PR) in Buckinghamshire, within the National Trust grounds. The scenic, officially measured 10-mile route starts along Well Lane, with the first 100 metres on grass, and is fully marshalled with chip timing.
Atmosphere is friendly and supportive, driven by enthusiastic volunteers. Features include prizes for the first male and female finishers plus age-group and club-team awards, bag drop, free parking, refreshments, first aid, and race merchandise or a Trees not Tees donation.
