About the race
Legends Trail is the flagship event of the Legends Trails series: a 350 km non-stop trail through the Belgian Ardennes held in winter over hard terrain. The course is renewed each edition and runs across wooded trails and varied landscapes of the Ardennes.
The event is organized as an unsupported race. In general this means that only Legends Trails volunteers and other participants are allowed to offer support. Weather and ground conditions are an integral part of the race: cold, rain, wind and snow are common, combined with prolonged climbs and extensive mud. The intended duration for the route is around four days.
Race headquarters and basecamp are located at the College St. Roch in Bernardfagne. The race history notes the first edition in 2016, when 47 starters began and 15 finished. A race parameter shown for the event is a cutoff of 4 km/h. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
