Leave No Trace - Camp Manatoc, Peninsula, OH
Leave No Trace takes place at Camp Manatoc in Peninsula on September 5, 2026. The event offers three trail distances:
- Half Marathon
- 15k
- 5k
The course is mostly single-track and is open to the public only during Western Reserve Racing events. Runners and hikers follow technical trails that pass through a white pine grove, feature many quick turns and hills, and run past Minnehaha Falls. The route finishes with a final hill before the finish area.
Organizers have been granted special permission to allow participants to run or hike with their dogs on the Camp Manatoc property. The event is part of the Dirty Trail Series. Donations collected for the race benefit Camp Manatoc, home of the Great Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Swag for finishers includes a finisher medal plus one of these options: triblend tee, crossbody bag, ice bandana, or a CVNP water bottle. Entry prices listed for the events are $70 for the half marathon, $50 for the 15k, and $30 for the 5k.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age groups: 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and Over.
