Event Overview
The Leander Band 5K and Kiddie K is a community running event established to support the fundraising efforts for the Leander High School Band Program. The event is hosted at Bible Stadium and features a course that traverses the school campus. Participants run or walk while being accompanied by music performed by student musicians along the route.
The event offers several participation options:
- Leander Band 5K: A 5 km race open to all ages.
- Kiddie K (400m): A free, untimed lap around the track for children aged 10 and under.
- Leander Band VIRTUAL 5K: A remote participation option for the 5 km distance.
Logistics and On-Site Amenities
Registration for the 5 km includes a commemorative t-shirt, provided the registration is completed by a specific date, as well as access to snacks following the race. At the conclusion of the event, sponsors and local vendors host displays and giveaways on the stadium turf. Packet pickup is conducted exclusively on the morning of the event at Bible Stadium. Awards are presented to top finishers in several different categories.
