Le Trail du Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer
Le Trail du Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer is held on May 23, 2026 at the Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer in Saint-Narcisse-de-Rimouski. The site features a network of trails, steep cliffs and a suspension bridge noted as the highest in Quebec.
The event offers multiple trail courses from short loops to long distances. Routes include single track and wider trails and are marked, secured and timed. Water points are available on every distance and aid stations are provided on selected distances. Kilometer markers are in place along the courses.
Offered distances
- 1.04 km : 12 m ascent, walk or run, 12 years and under
- 5.21 km : 48 m ascent, walk or run, 6 years and over
- 10.73 km : 79 m ascent, run only, 16 years and over
- 21.46 km : 158 m ascent, run only, 18 years and over
- 44.55 km : 758 m ascent, run only, 18 years and over
Onsite services include free parking, a snack for participants, changing rooms and toilets. Finish area and gathering take place near the Bistro Grand Sault. Age category podiums by sex are presented for each distance except the 1.04 km; participation medals are given to 1.04 km entrants. No overall podium and no cash prizes. Registration deadline is May 21, 2026 at midnight. The participant guide will be available two weeks before the event. Volunteers receive a promotional item, a snack and a refreshing drink.
