About the race
Le Run for Le Rouge on October 11, 2026 is a fundraiser run and walk that supports the DCFC youth soccer programs. The event offers both an on-site and a virtual option, each at 5K.
The on-site course starts and finishes at Detroit City Fieldhouse in Detroit. The route runs along Lafayette Street and passes through Elmwood Cemetery. After the event there will be open field play at the Detroit City Fieldhouse, cornhole, and other family activities. Each registered participant receives a Le Run for Le Rouge T-shirt and a drink ticket redeemable on site at City Clubhouse.
Packet pick-up is available at three times and locations: October 9 in the evening at Detroit City Fieldhouse, October 10 in the evening at Keyworth Stadium, and on race day at Detroit City Fieldhouse in the hour before the event.
Registration information from the organizer notes a base fee of $35, an early bird pricing period that ends on 8/28, and a $5 price increase on 9/19 to $45. Registrants who register by 11:59pm on 9/18 are guaranteed a shirt size as part of registration. Pets are not allowed on the route.
