LDWA Autumn Forest Marathon
The event is scheduled for 26 September 2026 in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire. All routes start and finish at the Memorial Hall on Station Road. Two waymarked courses are provided:
- Marathon 27 miles
- Short course 20 miles
The routes pass through a mix of newly planted, growing, established and mature forest, with the intention of showing early autumn woodland. There will be three staffed checkpoints on the 27 mile route and two on the 20 mile route; these checkpoints will serve snacks and hot and cold drinks. A hot meal will be served at the finish.
There is no specific event parking. Numerous public car parks around Henley are within a ten minute walk of the Memorial Hall and public transport options are available. Under 18s must be accompanied at all times by a guardian over 18 and must have written parental approval. Dogs are not permitted on the route.
Entry fees are listed as £20 for LDWA members and £25 for non-members. Entries open on 4 April 2026 and close on 21 September 2026. Any surplus funds after expenses will be donated to the Heart of England Forest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
