LBI Halloween Hustle 5K and Little Monsters Dash
The LBI Halloween Hustle is an inaugural fundraising event on October 25, 2026 in Surf City, NJ. The event benefits the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company #1 and EMS. The 5K starts and finishes on the 100 block of N. 7th Street near the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company and uses an official USATF certified 5K course.
The event includes a short children’s sprint called the Little Monsters Dash that follows the 5K awards presentation. Costumes are encouraged and a costume contest will be part of the program. Participation ribbons will be presented to all Little Monsters Dash participants. The event is described as family friendly and all costumes should be appropriate for participants and spectators of all ages. Registration opens April 23, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026. Registration fees listed in the event information are $30.00 for the 5K and $8.00 for the Little Monsters Dash.
