Long Beach Island 18 Mile Run Fundraiser
The event takes place on Sunday, October 10, 2027, in Holgate, Long Beach Township, New Jersey, at 4700 Long Beach Blvd. It is presented as the 55th anniversary edition and is organized as a fundraiser for the St. Francis Community Center. Funds raised go directly toward improving programs at the center.
The main course is a straight, flat, point-to-point route that heads north on Long Beach Blvd. Typical October conditions on Long Beach Island are around 65 degrees with winds generally from the south. A separate 12K run/walk follows the same start line and finishes at the St. Francis Community Center. The 12K distance is noted as about 7.5 miles and provides water stations and course supervision.
Organizers ask participants to register by September 15 to assist with ordering appropriate t-shirt sizes and medals. The event lists a registration fee of $100 for the 18 mile run and $80 for the 12K run/walk.
