Course Details

The event takes place on public roads around Udall, Kansas. Runners are required to run on the left side of the road and must be aware of traffic. After dark, participants must wear a reflective or light vest and carry a light or headlamp.

The race involves completing laps of 4.167 miles (6.706 kilometers). Each completed lap is called one "Yard". Runners must finish each lap within a one-hour time limit. A new lap starts every hour on the hour. A runner who fails to start a lap at the exact start time is eliminated.

Race Rules

Runners must complete laps without personal assistance or pacing from crew; common aid stations are provided on the course. Crew support is only allowed between laps at the start/finish area. Participants are responsible for their own hydration and should carry water as needed. Organizers may stop a runner they deem unfit to continue for safety reasons.

Outcome

The winner is the last runner standing who completes one more lap than all others. All other participants receive a result showing the total miles they accumulated.
