Layers of Pain Backyard Ultramarathon - June 20 and 21, 2026, Terrace, British Columbia
The event takes place at the Onion Lakes Ski Trails in Terrace on June 20 and 21, 2026. It follows a backyard ultramarathon format: participants run the designated 6.7 km loop every hour, on the hour, and may complete as many loops as they choose. Each loop begins with a mass start.
Registration is priced at CAD $65.00 per registrant, with payment accepted online and a small processing fee applied. The Early Bird deadline was May 22, 2026 and is listed as closed; the regular registration period was open through June 14, 2026. The total number of registrants recorded is 56.
Participants receive a t shirt or similar swag to be determined, and the winner receives a trophy. Basic snacks, water, electrolyte drinks, door prizes, and a photo booth will be available on race day. Participants are advised to bring a chair, cooler, or tent for downtime between loops.
