10th annual 5K at Amerson River Park
The Mercer Law School Association of Women Law Students will host the tenth annual 5K at Amerson River Park in Macon GA. The event is organized as an in person community run and walk that welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Children and pets are explicitly encouraged to join.
Registration is offered ahead of the event and race day registration will be available. A registration option includes a T shirt. Organizers have a backup plan for inclement weather to allow the event to proceed if conditions require adjustments.
Proceeds from the event provide scholarships to third year Association of Women Law Students members who are preparing to take the Bar exam. The event is presented as a recurring tradition within the Mercer Law School community and is run by the student organization AWLS. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
