Lauren Giddings 5K
Mercer Law School’s Association of Women Law Students (AWLS) hosts the annual 5K event on Saturday, November 14. The event combines a timed run and a community walk, and it welcomes runners and walkers of all ages; children and pets are encouraged to take part.
Organized as a tradition within the Mercer Law School community, this is the 10th running of the Lauren Giddings 5K. Proceeds from the event provide scholarships to third-year AWLS students preparing to take the Bar exam. The race is also held in memory of a 2011 Mercer Law graduate, reflecting its role as both a fundraiser and a commemorative occasion.
