About the race
LauraLynn's 5 & 10K is a fundraising running event taking place on 10 October 2026 at Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin. The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
There is a registration fee for each distance: the 5K is €25 and the 10K is €35. Registration fees cover event costs and include an event t-shirt and a medal. T-shirts are being sent to participants prior to the race. Entertainment on the day includes a DJ and an MC. A route map and further event-day information are provided to registered participants in advance.
Participants are encouraged to raise funds; raising or donating €100 or more supports the specialist care provided by LauraLynn, and those who raise €200 or more are eligible for entry into a prize draw. Parking is available at Leopardstown Racecourse on a first-come, first-served basis, with access to specified car parks; a nearby Luas stop is also noted.
The event is described as an over-18s race. Children are welcome to attend as spectators. The event supports LauraLynn, Ireland's children's hospice, and aims to raise funds for care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
