Last One Standing Florence Court

The Last One Standing Florence Court is an endurance event held at Florence Court in County Fermanagh. The race follows a classic backyard format where participants must complete a 4.2 mile loop every hour.

The route takes runners through the paths and forests of the estate. The course features a flat section at the start followed by a climb through the trees to the halfway point. From there, the path descends downhill for the remainder of the loop back to the finish line.

Participants have exactly one hour to finish the 4.2 mile circuit. On the hour, every hour, runners must line up to start the next lap. If a runner fails to finish a lap within the sixty-minute timeframe, they are eliminated from the competition. Only fully completed laps are counted toward a runner's total. This cycle continues until only one individual remains to start and finish a solo lap.

General rules for the event include:

  • No pacers are permitted; only active participants may pace one another.
  • Participants who reach a total distance of 100 miles are eligible for the Atlas Running 100 mile club.
  • All registered participants receive an event t-shirt and a medal.

The individual who completes the final solo lap is declared the winner and the last one standing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
