Last Chance XC Championships
The Last Chance XC Championships is a cross country meet held in November at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, New Jersey. The event takes place at 136 Oak Ridge Road and includes multiple open and age-group races, plus state championship events for New Jersey.
The course is described as a double-loop, pancake flat layout. Event features mentioned by the organizer include cheering crowds, loud music, oversized medals, personalized bibs, and complimentary action photographs.

High school 5K races are sanctioned by the NJSIAA and NFHS. Only affiliated schools may enter the sanctioned high school races; clubs and unattached runners are not permitted in those specific races. Three team championships are awarded: Boys teams (3 scoring runners), Girls teams (3 scoring runners), and Co-Ed teams (4 scoring runners: 2 boys and 2 girls). Team scoring is based on times rather than places; schools entering more than three runners are assigned teams by finish time (top three form A team, next three form B team, etc).
Entry fees listed by the organizer include $20 per runner, $50 per high school team, and larger unlimited entry options of $250 per gender or $500 for both genders. Entries are processed through Milesplit or RunSignUp. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
