Event overview
The Las Vegas Turkey Trot is a running event on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025. It is held along the Historic Railroad Trail in the Lake Mead Recreation Area. The event runs along an old railroad line and includes passage through the Six Tunnels to Hoover Dam. The race is in its 18th year and offers views of Lake Mead.

Logistics and entry
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Trek Bicycles in Henderson and on race day at the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail parking area in Boulder City. The event is USATF sanctioned and uses accurately measured, clearly marked courses. Participants receive a race bib, shirt, and finisher medal. Post-race snacks are provided. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to age group winners in 10-year age groups.
