Event overview
The St. Patrick's Day Run takes place on March 14, 2026, in historic Boulder City, Nevada, at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, about 18 miles from Las Vegas. The event uses the Historic Railroad Trail and passes through six tunnels toward the Hoover Dam. The course is USATF sanctioned. Courses
- Half Marathon - Start at Railroad Trailhead; west 2 miles, return, then six tunnels to Hoover Dam.
- 12K - Start at Railroad Trailhead; east through six tunnels to a turnaround and return.
- 5K - Start at Railroad Trailhead; east 1.55 miles then return the same way.
- 1 Mile Stroll - Short course near the trailhead.
Logistics
Packet pick-up is scheduled on the day before the race at Trek Bikes, 19 S. Stephanie St, Henderson, NV, and on race day at the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail, Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV. Awards are listed for the 5K, 12K and Half Marathon. Entry fees for registrations through March 14 are: Half Marathon $110, 12K $70, 5K $60, and 1 Mile Stroll $45.
