Las Vegas St. Patrick's Day Run, Boulder City
The Las Vegas St. Patrick's Day Run takes place in Boulder City within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, about 18 miles from Las Vegas. Races use the Historic Railroad Trail, a rail-to-trails route that passes through six tunnels en route to the Hoover Dam area.

- 5K (3.1 mi)
- 1 Mile Stroll
Course notes describe the half marathon starting at the Historic Railroad Trailhead, running west for about 2 miles then returning and continuing through the six tunnels to a turnaround near Hoover Dam before heading back to the finish. The 12K and 5K also begin at the Historic Railroad Trailhead and follow the Railroad Trail east through the tunnels to their respective turnarounds, then return to the start.
Logistics note that there is no parking at the race start; parking is provided at Veteran's Memorial Park with shuttle service to the trailhead. Shuttles run approximately every 15 to 20 minutes and the commute can take up to 30 minutes. Packet pick-up is scheduled Friday at Trek Bikes in Henderson and on race day at the Historic Railroad Trailhead.
