Event overview
The Las Vegas St. Patrick's Day Run is scheduled for March 14, 2026, in historic Boulder City, Nevada. The event takes place inside Lake Mead National Recreation Area, located about 18 miles from Las Vegas. Distances offered range from a 1 mile stroll to a Half Marathon.

All courses start at the Historic Railroad Trailhead. The Half Marathon begins by running west for about 2 miles, returning to the trailhead, then continuing on the Historic Railroad Trail through six tunnels to a turnaround near Hoover Dam and back to the finish. The 12K and 5K run east on the Historic Railroad Trail; the 12K continues through the six tunnels to a turnaround, while the 5K goes east 1.55 miles and returns the same way.
Race features and packet pick-up
The event is presented as a USATF-sanctioned course with accurately measured and clearly marked routes and official timing. Participants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, water, and a Gatorade nutrition product. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Trek Bikes in Henderson and on race day at the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail on Lakeshore Road in Boulder City.
