Event overview
The St. Patrick's Day Run takes place in Boulder City, Nevada, on March 14, 2026. The event is held at Lake Mead National Recreation Area and uses the Historic Railroad Trail, a rail-to-trails route in the national park area. The course passes through six tunnels and reaches a turnaround near the Hoover Dam.

All races begin at the Historic Railroad Trailhead. The half marathon includes a westbound 2-mile out-and-back section, then continues through the six tunnels to a Hoover Dam turnaround. The 12K and 5K run east on the Historic Railroad Trail and use an out-and-back format with a turnaround point on the trail. Packet pick-up is available Friday at Trek Bikes in Henderson and on race morning at the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail in Boulder City.
