Largo Law Hill Race
The event takes place on 14 November 2026 and is being reintroduced by Anster Haddies for the first time since 2019. It is an out and back hill race with a route of approximately 10 km and more than 300 m of elevation gain. The event is held under a Scottish Athletics permit and follows UK Athletics rules.
Race numbers are issued on the day at the Crusoe Hotel in Lower Largo. Entry may be available on the day subject to places remaining. Total places for the event are 100.
Facilities and logistics note that toilets will be available in the Crusoe Hotel but there are no changing facilities. There is no parking at the Crusoe Hotel; parking is available at Old Station Car Park, Station Park, Lower Largo KY8 6DT or Lower Largo Car Park, Main St, Lower Largo KY8 6BT. The start is located about half a mile from registration; competitors follow Harbour Wynd up and across the A915 to the start line (what3words ///flasks.youthful.chairing).
Appropriate footwear and kit should be worn for the conditions on the day; trail shoes or similar are recommended. Headphones are not permitted. There will be no medals for finishers. Prize categories are first to third male overall and first to third female overall. Entry fees are listed as £8 unattached and £5 S.A.F.
