14th Annual NOW Lap the Lake 5K Walk & Run
The 14th annual NOW Lap the Lake event takes place in Dayville, Connecticut on September 20, 2026. The 5K course starts and finishes at The Lake Tavern and follows a scenic lap around Alexander's Lake on private roads. A post-race festival includes an awards presentation, music, food and drinks, live raffles, and family activities. The event also features a live broadcast with WINY Radio and professional photography.
A separate Kids Fun Run is offered for ages 10 and under on an out and back course along Upper Maple Street. Proceeds support NOW youth health and wellness programming, including sports, nutrition, and fitness education for families in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut.

Registration and fees Registration for the 5K opens April 3, 2026 and closes June 21, 2026; the registration fee is $25. Registration for the Kids Fun Run opens May 15, 2026 and closes September 19, 2026; the fee is $5.
