Courthouse O'Putnam 5K
The Courthouse O'Putnam 5K takes place on March 8, 2026, in Putnam, Connecticut, with start and finish in downtown Putnam. The course runs along the Putnam River Trail and offers rolling terrain with views of the Quinebaug River. A post race gathering is held at the Courthouse Bar & Grille where finishers receive a hot corned beef sandwich on a pretzel bun; participants aged 21 and over who show ID are eligible for an offered craft beer.
Registration for the event includes a custom St. Paddy’s festive cotton shirt. The Hartford Marathon Foundation lists the Susie Beris, MD Youth Running Program as the event charity beneficiary.

The Courthouse O'Putnam 5K is part of a series of St. Paddy’s themed O’races. The Lucky Challenge covers participation in four O’races with options for virtual and in person combinations. The Li’l Lucky option allows entry in any two of the four races and awards a finisher medal. The HMF Milestone membership program offers optional member perks such as a personalized bib at select events when registered in advance.
