Langebaan Athletics Club Half Marathon
The Langebaan Athletics Club hosts a running event on 22 August 2026 at Langebaan Town Hall, West Coast Peninsula, Western Cape. The event includes the following distances:
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km fun run
Registration takes place in person at Langebaan Town Hall on 21 and 22 August 2026. A food stall will be available inside the town hall. Tog bag facilities are not provided.
Entry fees vary by distance and license status. Examples from the fee schedule include licensed 21.1 km entries at R200 and unlicensed 21.1 km entries at R285 with a temporary license fee of R85. The 10 km licensed fee is R120 and unlicensed 10 km R185 with a temporary license fee of R65. A junior 10 km class is listed for ages 14 to 19 and some 70 plus categories have free entry with applicable license fees. Age restrictions apply for specific distances.
Total prize money for the event is R45 000 and a school with the most entries will receive R2 500. Medals are awarded for finishers in specified distances and age category prizes require age tags.
