2026 Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Run
The Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Run and Walk is an annual community event held in Rochester, Minnesota. The event serves as a fundraiser for a memorial scholarship supporting students who participated in track and field or cross country during high school, particularly those continuing to run while pursuing post-secondary education. The gathering is hosted by the Rochester and Stout running communities to honor the legacy of a former athlete through sportsmanship and physical activity.
The event features two primary in-person distances:
- 8K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
A virtual participation option is also available for those unable to attend the event in person. The course for the in-person races starts and ends at the Eagle's Aerie #2228, located at 917 15th Avenue Southeast.
Registration for the 2026 event does not automatically include a commemorative shirt. Participants may choose to purchase a shirt for an additional fee during the registration process, provided the order is placed before the specified deadline in late July. While a limited number of shirts may be available for purchase on the day of the race, size availability is not guaranteed.
Participants can access post-run refreshments after completing their distance. Additional food and beverages are available for purchase from the Eagle's Club.
