Lakewood Center's Outrun Stigma 5K
Lakewood Center's Outrun Stigma 5K takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 in Oviedo, Florida at 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard. The event aims to raise awareness and support for services addressing mental illness.
The 5K course is 3.1 miles and the event is electronically timed using a disposable transponder chip that is attached to the back of the race bib. Official times are recorded only with the provided chip. Awards will be presented to the top three males, top three females, and top three finishers in multiple age groups covering ages from 6 and under through 90 and older. An awards ceremony is held after the race at the start and finish location.
Shirts are guaranteed for participants who complete registration and payment before the stated registration deadline. Packet pickup and on site registration occur on race day at the race venue. Parking is available next to the start location and the race both starts and ends at the same place.
Additional details: dogs and strollers are permitted, with strollers requested to start toward the back of the field; a water station is available on course and at the finish but participants are advised to bring their own water; qualified emergency medical professionals are present at the start and finish.
